Preston is a street, not a metaphor.
Before this was a company, it was an address: the place where the idea started, long before there was a client, a deck, or a name for any of this.
The dot in our mark carries that with it. At a glance, it reads as a signal, a node in a system, fitting for what we build. Look closer, and it's a coordinate: a fixed point, the way every real improvement starts somewhere specific (one process, one line, one team) instead of nowhere in particular.
We kept the name because it's the opposite of a generated one. It means something to us, even if the reason stays ours.
